"Live and Love Happy", ©
1999
9 1/4 by 16"
David first created this piece when asked to do a signing
for another retail store. He always tries to make every
signing truly unique and the owner of this store actually
had the log cabin pictured here. A very enjoyable piece of
folk art with a bit of history and a very warm wish for
happiness. $275.00

"Tip Top Day" © 2004
- acrylic
on arched pine board, 11" by 16". This piece was used to
mold everything from resin figures to cookie jars. A rare
escape from primitive folk art, this one is a visit to the
50's. Curiously enough, the wood used to paint this one has
a pattern from the "Folk Art by DAVID" wallpaper book on the
reverse side! David obviously takes recycling to the
extreme! This is literally 2 paintings in one. $275.00

"Robin Hood" ©
2002 - acrylic on
arched wood, 11" by 16". This guy was an introduction to
spring! He has a robin sitting on his head- hence the name
"Robin Hood". A truly unique piece with the play on wording
so common with the artist. $250.00

"Graceful Grace"
© 2001 -
acrylic on raised wood panel, 11" by 19". This was inspired
by a friend and her love of skating. Dressed in her ruby
red gown, this little gal really knows how to "figure 8"!
She's almost too top heavy for her tiny little skates. This
piece was used for a resin music box which played "Winter
Wonderland". $250.00
